Lawn & Pest Control FAQ

The questions Spokane customers ask us most: cost, safety, scheduling and timing.

How much does lawn care or pest control cost in Spokane?

It depends on your property's size, the service and how often you need it, so Automated Lawn & Pest Control quotes every property individually, and estimates are free. Some service calls, like sprinkler repairs, carry a service fee or a minimum charge, so ask about them when you book. The fastest way to a real number is a free quote or a call to (509) 818-1831.

Can one company handle my lawn, pests, sprinklers and snow?

Yes. Automated Lawn & Pest Control is set up for exactly that. The same local team can mow and fertilize your lawn, treat your home's perimeter for spiders and ants, repair or blow out your sprinklers, clean up your beds in fall and clear your driveway in winter, all from one number: (509) 818-1831. See every service we offer.

What pests do you treat?

Automated Lawn & Pest Control's perimeter pest control targets spiders, ants, wasps and yellow jackets, and mice around Spokane-area homes and businesses. We treat where pests get in: the foundation, entry points like doors, windows and utility lines, and the landscape beds next to the house.

Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?

Tell us about your kids and pets when you book, and your technician will walk you through it: what's being applied, where it goes, and how long to keep everyone off treated areas.

How soon can you come out?

It depends on the season and the job, and we'll give you a real date when you call. We try to schedule enough staff and equipment to stay flexible, so repairs and fall blowouts can often be fit in quickly, even in busy weeks.

When should I aerate my lawn in Spokane?

Early spring and fall are the best times to core aerate a Spokane lawn, and fall suits cool-season grasses. We sometimes recommend a summer aeration for lawns that are dry or where water pools on top. Most lawns need it once a year; lawns with heavy foot traffic or clay soil can benefit from twice.

When should I have my sprinklers blown out?

In the fall, before the first hard freeze, so water left in the lines can't freeze and crack pipes, valves or the backflow preventer. Automated Lawn & Pest Control handles sprinkler blowouts and winterization across the Spokane area.

Do you work with rental properties and businesses?

Yes. Along with homes, we care for rental properties and commercial sites. Commercial pest programs include monitoring and documentation, and commercial snow removal runs on structured contracts with detailed scopes of work. Rental owners use us for curb-appeal projects and ongoing mowing, fertilizer and pest control. More on commercial and rental property care.
