Sprinkler Service Questions
How often should a sprinkler system be serviced in Spokane?
At least twice a year: a start-up and inspection in spring and a blowout before the first hard freeze in fall. In between, adjust heads and watering times as the weather changes, and fix broken heads or leaks as soon as you see them. Our season-by-season sprinkler guide covers what to check yourself.
What's the difference between a sprinkler start-up and a blowout?
A start-up turns the system back on in spring and checks it for winter damage. A blowout does the opposite in fall: compressed air pushes the water out of the lines, valves and heads so there's nothing left to freeze. Automated Lawn & Pest Control does both, and systems in the Spokane area need both every year.
Do you work on sprinkler systems another company installed?
Yes. We repair and maintain systems we didn't install, from very old ones to newer systems that came with a house and no instructions. We find the problem, fix it and can walk you through your zones and controller while we're there.
